From our wonderful location beside the River Thames we work alongside our partners at Oxford River Cruises who offer private trips aboard their beautiful Edwardian style river boats, complemented by our culinary delights for the perfect Oxford experience.
Private Cruise and Dine
Your experience begins boarding our elegant Edwardian style river launches for a 30-minute private cruise taking in the highlights of river life in Oxford. Each boat carries up to 12 people. We see Folly Bridge, Christ Church Meadow, the University boat houses and the Regatta course whilst a complimentary glass of prosecco is served.
We disembark at the restaurant terrace where your exquisite meal will be served in charming surroundings either inside the restaurant or, on request, on our floating river terrace. For larger groups there is the possibility of using the restaurant’s private dining space. The Folly’s a la carte menu offers relaxed fine dining and there is a comprehensive wine list available to complement your meal.
Our private ‘Cruise and Dine’ offers the chance to relax, eat well, and enjoy an indulgent taste of river life in Oxford.

Private Afternoon Tea Cruise
This 1.5-hour cruise on the River Thames takes in beautiful rural scenery and Oxford sights such as the University Regatta Course, Christ Church Meadow, the College Boat Houses and Folly Bridge as well as passing through picturesque Iffley Lock. The cruise winds its way through rowing teams, punts, and pleasure boats on this lively section of the river and there are abundant opportunities for taking in the views and spotting local wildlife.
Each of our boats can accommodate 12 people. For larger groups we will make use of two or more boats which will cruise along the river together. Passengers have the opportunity to swap from boat to boat so that groups can mingle.
Aboard the boat we serve an indulgent afternoon tea.

Private Cocktail Cruise
A serene and sophisticated experience on the river in Oxford. Enjoy a private 30-minute cruise aboard our elegant river boats with sumptuous cocktails by The Folly served aboard. Each boat carries up to 12 people. Larger parties will cruise aboard two or more boats in a flotilla down
the river.
